Outpatient Pharmacy Technician in Dublin, OH

An established healthcare facility in the greater Columbus area is seeking four certified pharmacy technicians to support their inpatient pharmacy operations. This 13-week contract opportunity begins on July 26 and offers a chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a hospital outpatient setting with a focus on inpatient care.

Location:

• Dublin, OH area

Schedule:

• Two positions: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM shifts, with every other weekend required
• Two positions: Overnight shifts, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment
• Perform medication compounding, including IV admixtures (IV experience highly desirable)
• Utilize Cerner EMR systems to process and document all pharmacy activities
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and effective medication management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience
• Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license and national certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with hospital protocols
