Pharmacy Technician in Dublin, OH

A full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician position is available in the Cincinnati, Ohio area with a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician looking to support a busy pharmacy team and grow within a dynamic environment. The position offers consistent first-shift hours with some flexibility across the week.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining operational efficiency in the pharmacy.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide excellent service.
• Receive, verify, and process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Address and resolve prescription or insurance claim issues promptly.
• Prepare medications by selecting, measuring, and labeling according to prescriptions.
• Manage inventory, including sorting, stocking, and monitoring medication levels.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio is required.
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy or a similar environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly advantageous.
