Pharmacy Technician - Dublin, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and provide excellent service in a retail pharmacy setting. This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with a structured first-shift schedule.

Location: Dublin, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing the pharmacy department efficiently.
• Greet customers and respond to their questions professionally.
• Receive prescriptions, verify their validity, and process them electronically with accuracy.
• Address and resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly.
• Select medications and measure dosages to fill prescriptions according to standards.
• Label, stock, and monitor medication inventory to maintain pharmacy readiness.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Previous retail or similar pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly advantageous.
