Pharmacy Technician | Dublin, Ohio

This role is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of one year of recent inpatient experience. Experience with IVs is a valuable plus. Candidates must hold a valid Ohio pharmacy technician license and be nationally certified. Proficiency in Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.

Schedule/Hours:

• Two shifts every other weekend, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Four overnight shifts Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Location: Dublin, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in an inpatient hospital setting
• Manage and compound IV medications as required
• Utilize Cerner EMR system to document and review medication orders and patient information
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare team to ensure safe medication use
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Ohio pharmacy technician license and national certification are mandatory
• Experience with IV preparation preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

This contract position begins on June 14 with a duration of approximately 13 weeks. It offers an opportunity to apply your inpatient pharmacy skills in a fast-paced environment with varied shifts including overnight hours and weekend coverage.
