A growing mail-order pharmacy in Athens, Ohio is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians ready to develop new skills in sterile IV compounding. This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offers comprehensive training for candidates with 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience and a motivation to advance their careers in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment. You will receive hands-on training in both non-sterile and sterile compounding, including intravenous preparation, to ensure accuracy and compliance with USP standards and pharmacy regulations. Additional duties involve filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions for mail distribution, managing inventory, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting shipping and workflow coordination.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years recent Pharmacy Technician experience
- Active Pharmacy Technician license if required by state regulations
- No prior compounding experience necessary; training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and eagerness to learn
