Pharmacy Technician | East Falmouth, Massachusetts

A community hospital located on beautiful Cape Cod is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support its pharmacy team. This facility serves a 200-bed patient population and utilizes cutting-edge technology including EPIC and Pyxis systems. This contract opportunity focuses on day shift coverage with 8-hour shifts at their East Falmouth, MA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications following strict protocol
• Restock and manage Pyxis automated medication dispensing units efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate medication distribution
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and hospital standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Massachusetts Pharmacist Technician license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, especially EPIC
• Familiarity with automated dispensing systems such as Pyxis
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 8 hours per shift
