Pharmacy Technician | Easton, Pennsylvania

Support pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist by providing essential technical assistance within an inpatient hospital setting. This full-time, permanent role involves preparing, labeling, dispensing, and distributing medications for a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense pharmaceutical products accurately and efficiently.
• Label medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Use pharmacy software systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell to manage inventory and track medication distribution.
• Support sterile compounding and IV preparation procedures.
• Participate in weekend rotation and work variable afternoon shifts based on department needs.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and medication accuracy.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NJ Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain it swiftly.
• National Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, including IV preparation.
• Certification in IV and sterile compounding is preferred.

Location: This opportunity is based in Flemington, NJ, approximately one hour from Edison, Newark, and New York City.

Schedule:

• Variable afternoon shifts.
• Weekend rotation as required.
