Pharmacy Technician in Eastpointe, MI

A pharmacy technician position is available through the end of the year with the possibility of extension. This role is based in Eastpointe, Michigan, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The assignment starts ASAP and requires at least 13 weeks of commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and label prescriptions, including long-term care packaging such as multi-dose punch cards and pouch packs
• Operate packaging equipment to complete production runs accurately and on schedule
• Check in and reconcile cycle medication exchanges from healthcare facilities
• Process returned medications and apply credits appropriately
• Receive wholesaler orders daily, stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain proper stock levels
• Pull products, scan NDCs, and prepare completed work for pharmacist final check
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Michigan
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a pharmacy technician
• Experience in closed-door pharmacy or long-term care settings preferred but not required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to quickly learn new software systems; Frameworks experience is not required
