A reputable pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for an 8-13 week temp-to-perm assignment in Sayreville, New Jersey. This opportunity involves supporting a closed-door, high-volume pharmacy specializing in a first-in-class therapy. The role demands accuracy, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Location:

  • Variable shifts including day and mid shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm
  • Two closing shifts per week
  • Located in Sayreville, New Jersey

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
  • Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions using Prime Rx software
  • Maintain precise patient, physician, and prescription records
  • Identify and report adverse events in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Support the pharmacy team with all essential activities

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
  • Minimum of 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting; retail experience considered
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to commit to the assignment without frequent job changes over the past year
