Pharmacy Technician | Edison, New Jersey

Join a fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician supporting patients with access to specialized therapies. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment handling a high volume of prescriptions and customer interactions.

Position Details:

• Location: Edison, NJ (with assignment in Sayreville, NJ)
• Term: 8-13 weeks temp-to-perm
• Schedule: Variable days and mid shifts between 8:00am - 8:00pm, including 2 closing shifts per week
• Average Script Volume: Approximately 900 prescriptions per day
• Pharmacy Software: Prime Rx

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients and healthcare providers efficiently and professionally
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions according to company protocols
• Identify and report adverse events following standard operating procedures
• Maintain precise patient, physician, and prescription records to ensure compliance and quality care

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably within a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting; retail experience considered
• Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
• Stability in previous positions is preferred—candidates with frequent pharmacy job changes in the past year are not ideal
