Pharmacy Technician - Edison, New Jersey

Located in the Sayreville area of New Jersey, this Pharmacy Technician opportunity offers a dynamic role in a fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy setting. This temp-to-perm position involves managing a high volume of prescriptions—approximately 900 per day—and requires effective handling of inbound and outbound calls to support patient access to specialized therapies.

Schedule:

• Variable days and mid shifts
• Operating hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Two closing shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a heavy call volume from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and physicians, ensuring their needs are met
• Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions using Prime Rx pharmacy software
• Maintain precise records of patient, physician, and prescription information
• Identify and report any adverse events following company protocols

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of one year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy environment; retail experience considered
• Strong and accurate data entry skills
• Commitment to stability; candidates with frequent job changes in the past year will not be considered
