Pharmacy Technician in Elgin, IL

This ongoing role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to contribute in a dynamic pharmacy environment. The position is based in Elgin, IL, with a contract-to-hire arrangement and a 6-month initial assignment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a consistent and balanced workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with daily operations and prescription processing
• Perform PRS (Pharmacy Replenishment System) duties as needed
• Support warehouse tasks and maintain inventory accuracy
• Flexibly work across various pharmacy areas to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
• PTCB Certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of solid pharmacy experience preferred for optimal success

Compensation:

• Pay range from $23 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience:
  • $23/hr for 1 year of experience
  • $24/hr for 2 years of experience
  • $25/hr for 3 or more years of experience
