Retail Pharmacy Technician | Elizabeth, New Jersey

Support the daily operations of a busy retail pharmacy located in Montclair, NJ as a Pharmacy Technician skilled in using Rx30 pharmacy systems. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by efficiently managing prescription intake, processing, and dispensing within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and fill prescription orders accurately following pharmacy protocols.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and inventory management.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and answer patient inquiries.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with established pharmacy procedures.
• Support the retail pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software system.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred.

Schedule and Location:

• Montclair, NJ location.
• Full-time preferred; part-time applicants considered.
• Pharmacy operating hours:
  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
