Pharmacy Technician | Elizabeth, New Jersey

A pharmacy technician role is available for an 8-13 week temp-to-perm assignment in Sayreville, New Jersey. This position operates within a closed-door pharmacy setting focused on delivering UPNEEQ®, a specialty therapy. The role requires managing high call volumes averaging around 900 prescriptions per day and supporting the pharmacy team in various operational tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
• Delivering outstanding customer service to patients and physicians
• Accurately entering data and preparing prescriptions
• Monitoring and reporting adverse events per company procedures
• Maintaining precise records of patients, prescriptions, and physician information

Candidates will work a varied schedule covering days and mid shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, with two closing shifts weekly. The pharmacy uses Prime Rx software for operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience, preferably in mail order or closed-door pharmacy
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Experience in retail pharmacy is acceptable but preference for closed-door
• Stability in work history—no multiple pharmacy job changes within the past year
