A growing closed-door pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support patient access to UPNEEQ®, a first-in-class therapy, by managing prescription processing and providing excellent customer service. This direct hire role operates on a variable schedule with shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, including closing shifts twice a week. The position requires handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and accurately managing prescription data using Prime Rx pharmacy software.

Location: Sayreville, New Jersey
Schedule: Variable days and mid shifts, 8:00am – 8:00pm, including two closing shifts per week
Average Script Volume: Approximately 900 prescriptions per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a significant volume of calls to and from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and efficiency
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and medical professionals, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Identify and report adverse events following company protocols to maintain patient safety
  • Accurately create and maintain patient, physician, and prescription records
  • Support the pharmacy team with prescription preparation and other essential tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey
  • Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, ideally in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy environment (retail experience accepted)
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable work history; candidates exhibiting frequent job changes within the past year will not be considered
