Pharmacy Technician - Elizabeth, New Jersey

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician in Sayreville, New Jersey. This role supports a specialized closed-door pharmacy that focuses on helping patients access UPNEEQ®, a first-in-class therapy. Candidates will manage a high volume of patient interaction through inbound and outbound calls while ensuring precise prescription processing and data management within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Sayreville, NJ
Schedule: Variable shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including days, mid shifts, and two closing shifts per week
Pharmacy Software: Prime Rx
Average Prescription Volume: Approximately 900 prescriptions per day

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of calls with patients and healthcare providers to support order processing and inquiries
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and physicians, ensuring clear and empathetic communication
• Accurately prepare prescriptions and enter data, maintaining attention to detail in all documentation
• Monitor and report any adverse events following company protocols
• Maintain and update patient, physician, and prescription records in compliance with pharmacy guidelines

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally within a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting (retail experience also considered)
• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for accuracy
• Preference given to candidates with stability in previous positions; job hopping is discouraged
