Pharmacy Technician in Elizabeth, NJ

A growing pharmacy specializing in innovative therapies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a Temp-To-Hire basis in Sayreville, New Jersey. This role supports a high-volume, closed-door pharmacy operation known for delivering exceptional patient care and managing approximately 900 prescriptions daily.

Schedule and Location

• Variable schedule including day and mid shifts
• Two closing shifts weekly
• Operating hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Located in Sayreville, NJ

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and physicians, assisting with orders and inquiries
• Accurately prepare prescriptions, maintain precise data entry, and uphold patient, physician, and prescription records
• Identify and report any adverse events in compliance with company protocols
• Support pharmacy team activities to ensure smooth daily operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with mail order or closed-door pharmacy background preferred; retail experience considered
• Strong proficiency in data entry and high attention to detail
• Commitment to stability—candidates with frequent job changes in the past year are discouraged
