Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Elk Grove, CA

Seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians for a per diem opportunity supporting retail locations in the greater Sacramento area, including Elk Grove and potentially Lodi/Stockton. This role requires a reliable, fast-moving technician who thrives in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Operate the cash register and manage inventory and takebacks
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and accurate medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends

Schedule:

• Per diem position with an expectation of working at least 3-4 days per week; additional availability is a plus
• Start date is ASAP
• Mileage reimbursement offered for travel exceeding 30 miles from home to site
