An opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy retail pharmacy team in the greater Sacramento area. This per diem position is ideal for those with a reliable work ethic seeking flexible scheduling and consistent work opportunities.
Responsibilities include performing typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions, operating the cash register, managing inventory, and handling takebacks. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Location:
- Sites across the greater Sacramento area, including Elk Grove and potentially Lodi/Stockton
Schedule:
- Days, evenings, and weekends
- Candidates should be available to work at least 3 to 4 days per week, with more shifts possible for those interested
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience
- Good teamwork and communication capabilities
- Valid California pharmacy technician license; PTCB certification preferred if applicable
- Ability to reliably travel to assigned locations (mileage reimbursement provided for commutes over 30 miles)
Additional Details:
- A few days of training will be provided by the client
- Candidate documents required: updated resume, skills checklist, one retail supervisor reference, and copies of license and certification
