Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Ephrata, PA

A Pharmacy Technician role is available for a short-term assignment in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, running from September 8 through September 10. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your pharmacy skills and contribute effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Working first shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday through Thursday, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications safely and efficiently.
• Manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory, including ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and addressing customer needs and concerns.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, facilitating seamless prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly desirable.
