Per Diem Certified Pharmacy Technician in Evans, GA

A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available to support pharmaceutical services in Augusta, GA. This role involves dispensing medications prescribed by healthcare practitioners and delivering knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding medication use. • Augusta, GA

Schedule:

• Thursday, October 1, 2026: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (7 hours)
• Friday, October 2, 2026: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
• Monday, October 5, 2026 through Friday, October 16, 2026 (excluding weekends): 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8.5 hours daily)
• Total Scheduled Hours: Approximately 100.5 hours

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately according to physician or authorized practitioner orders
• Provide clear, accurate information about medications to patients and healthcare team members
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and patient confidentiality
• Support pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician License
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent credentials desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
