This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician with inpatient hospital and sterile compounding experience seeking a rewarding role within an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment. The position involves working directly in inpatient operations as well as sterile compounding in a clean room setting, contributing to critical medication preparation and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compound medication batches following strict sterile compounding protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain crash carts, ensuring readiness and proper inventory.
  • Utilize Omnicell and auto cart fill systems efficiently.
  • Perform general inpatient pharmacy technician duties supporting medication delivery.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Current PTCB certification.
  • Proven experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
  • Proficient in sterile compounding procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday with rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
  • Rotating weekend shifts required.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks with intent to hire.
  • Location: Evanston, IL.
