Pharmacy Technician in Everett, WA

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding, including chemotherapy preparations. This role supports critical pharmacy operations within a hospital setting and requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Location: Everett, WA
Schedule: Days/afternoons, 8-hour shifts
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, including preparation of chemotherapy medications
• Ensure accurate and timely restocking of Pyxis units to maintain inventory readiness
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards in all pharmacy operations

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Washington State Pharmacy Technician license
• Approximately 2 years of recent hospital or intravenous (IV) compounding experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and cleanroom practices
