A certified Pharmacy Technician is needed to travel throughout Maryland and Virginia, serving as a primary liaison between the pharmacy and multiple healthcare facilities. This direct-hire role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts while ensuring high-quality medication therapy support and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with facility leadership and staff as the main pharmacy contact
  • Collaborate with clinical services and pharmacy teams to provide medication therapy guidance
  • Address client inquiries promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Conduct training sessions on pharmacy systems and medication safety for facility staff
  • Perform monthly onsite visits, medication room inspections, and compliance audits
  • Assist with survey preparation and support continuous quality improvement efforts
  • Travel extensively within assigned territories in Virginia and Maryland to support facilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician licenses in both Virginia and Maryland
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification highly preferred
  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and medication distribution software such as EMAR, Medbank, and Frameworks
  • Reliable transportation for frequent travel; willingness to stay overnight when necessary

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Occasional flexible hours for audits or special assignments
  • Rare weekend work required

This role provides an excellent opportunity to combine pharmacy technician expertise with travel and client-facing responsibilities in a dynamic field position. Mileage and lodging expenses for travel will be covered.
