A full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a path to permanent placement. This role focuses on supporting pharmacists and enhancing patient experience within a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
Schedule:
- 1st shift
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in serving patients and maintaining efficient department operations
- Greet customers professionally and respond to inquiries
- Receive and verify prescription validity
- Process electronic prescriptions accurately, ensuring completeness of information
- Handle issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly
- Select medications and measure dosages according to prescriptions
- Manage medication labeling, sorting, stocking, and inventory monitoring
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possession of a Pharmacy Technician license valid in Ohio
- Experience in retail pharmacy or a similar setting is preferred
- Proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly desirable
