Pharmacy Technician in Fairfield, OH

Join a dynamic retail pharmacy setting as a Pharmacy Technician in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This full-time, contract-to-hire position supports the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate prescription processing and top-quality patient care within an engaging work environment.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Fairfield area)

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Shift: 1st

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing daily pharmacy operations
• Greet customers and respond to their inquiries with professionalism and care
• Receive prescriptions and verify their validity and accuracy
• Process prescriptions electronically using Pioneer Rx software, ensuring completeness
• Resolve prescription-related issues, including rejected insurance claims
• Select, measure, and prepare medication dosages accurately for dispensing
• Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor pharmacy inventory to maintain optimal levels

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio (required)
• Experience in retail pharmacy or a similar setting preferred
• Proficient with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
