Pharmacy Technician - Fairfield, OH

This role involves supporting daily pharmacy operations in a retail pharmacy environment on a contract-to-hire basis. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient details and prescription information into the computer system.
• Assist the pharmacist with dispensing prescription medications safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and reorder over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Coordinate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and ensure smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following pharmacy regulations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
