Pharmacy Technician | Fairfield, Ohio

This role offers an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with retail pharmacy experience to support prescription processing and customer service in a busy pharmacy environment. The position begins as a 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement.

Location:

• Fairfield, Ohio

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• First shift

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription orders efficiently and safely.
• Manage and monitor over-the-counter (OTC) inventory, placing orders to maintain adequate stock.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing questions and concerns.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and ensure seamless prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Ohio.
• Minimum of one year experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx software is an advantage.
