Pharmacy Technician | Fairfield, Ohio

This role offers the opportunity to apply your pharmacy technician expertise in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The position requires commitment to quality patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and safety protocols
• Assist with IV medication preparation, if applicable
• Manage inventory and ensure pharmacy compliance with regulatory standards
• Utilize Cerner EMR for medication order processing and documentation
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience; IV preparation skills are a plus
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license and national certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner Electronic Medical Records system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Schedule:

• Shift 1: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, every other weekend (2 shifts)
• Shift 2: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday overnight (2 shifts)
