Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Fairport, New York

A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Fairport, NY, offering a 2-week assignment from March 17, 2026, through April 3, 2026. This role provides essential support during first shift hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a possibility of extension to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
• Manage and maintain over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to ensure consistent stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and addressing customer needs and concerns.
• Navigate third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience working in retail pharmacy or within a 340B pharmacy environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
