Pharmacy Technician - Fitzgerald, GA

A retail outpatient pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations using the Pioneer system. This contract-to-hire position is based in Fitzgerald, GA, working within the Southwell Clinic environment and collaborating closely with leadership over Tifton Regional.

Schedule:

• Monday/Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday/Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and enter prescription data
• Fill and dispense medications in compliance with pharmacy protocols
• Manage insurance claims and billing procedures
• Provide excellent customer and patient service at the retail counter
• Maintain inventory and assist with stock management
• Support pharmacists in outpatient workflow and other pharmacy tasks

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration
• Prior experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
