Pharmacy Technician | Flemington, New Jersey

Support the Department of Pharmaceutical Services in an inpatient hospital setting as a Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by preparing, labeling, dispensing, and distributing pharmaceutical products across all patient populations, including neonates through geriatrics.

Location & Schedule:

• Flemington, NJ (~1 hour from Edison, Newark, and New York City)
• Variable afternoon shifts based on department needs
• Weekend rotation required as scheduled

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, labeling, dispensing, and distribution of medications
• Utilize technologies such as Pyxis and Omnicell for medication management
• Support compliance with safety and quality standards in pharmaceutical services
• Prepare intravenous medications and participate in sterile compounding as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• NJ Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain quickly
• National certification from PTCB or NHA
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience including IV preparation
• IV/Sterile Compounding certification preferred
