Support the Department of Pharmaceutical Services in an inpatient hospital setting as a Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by preparing, labeling, dispensing, and distributing pharmaceutical products across all patient populations, including neonates through geriatrics.
Location & Schedule:
- Flemington, NJ (~1 hour from Edison, Newark, and New York City)
- Variable afternoon shifts based on department needs
- Weekend rotation required as scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, labeling, dispensing, and distribution of medications
- Utilize technologies such as Pyxis and Omnicell for medication management
- Support compliance with safety and quality standards in pharmaceutical services
- Prepare intravenous medications and participate in sterile compounding as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- NJ Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain quickly
- National certification from PTCB or NHA
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience including IV preparation
- IV/Sterile Compounding certification preferred
