Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Folsom, California

A well-established retail pharmacy team is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join their per diem staff supporting multiple locations across the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton. This opportunity offers consistent, week-in/week-out work with flexible scheduling options spanning days, evenings, and weekends.

Ideal candidates will bring at least 1-2 years of experience working in high-volume retail pharmacies and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities. This role requires handling typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions, operating the cash register, managing inventory, and processing takebacks.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (mandatory)
• Proficient in pharmacy technician duties including prescription processing and customer service
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills
• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification is a plus

Location:

• Positions available across greater Sacramento, with occasional sites in Lodi and Stockton
• Mileage reimbursement offered for travel exceeding 30 miles from your home

• Support pharmacy operations efficiently during assigned shifts
• Maintain accuracy in prescription dispensing and record-keeping
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, supervisors, and team members
• Participate in a training program provided prior to starting assignments
