Pharmacy Technician | Fort Gibson, Oklahoma

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and rehabilitation hospital setting. The role requires a candidate with hospital pharmacy experience, licensed or willing to quickly obtain an Oklahoma pharmacy technician license. The assignment begins immediately with an 8-hour day shift schedule. The engagement is a 13-week contract with the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Location:

• Muskogee, Oklahoma

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounding in accordance with hospital protocols
• Restock and manage Pyxis medication dispensing units efficiently
• Handle incoming communications for the pharmacy department professionally
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations ensuring accurate medication distribution and patient safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy environment is required
• Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license, or the ability and willingness to obtain licensure promptly
• Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively within a clinical setting
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care standards
