Retail Pharmacy Technician | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

This opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician experienced in fast-paced retail environments who values patient-centered care and teamwork. • Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Contract Details:

• Immediate start
• 13-week contract to hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and efficiency
• Manage prior authorizations (PAs) and support dispensing/filling processes
• Maintain a positive, proactive attitude as a “worker bee” who identifies and addresses pharmacy needs autonomously
• Communicate effectively within the pharmacy team and with healthcare providers
• Uphold a high level of patient care and confidentiality within a sensitive healthcare environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1+ years in high-volume retail pharmacy technician role
• Licensed as a Florida Pharmacy Technician; PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Proficiency or willingness to learn PioneerRx software; must be software savvy
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Demonstrated pharmacy intuition with an ability to anticipate and respond to workflow needs
