Pharmacy Technician | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire position for a Pharmacy Technician in a specialized HIV/AIDS retail pharmacy setting. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume retail pharmacy
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required; PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Proficiency with pharmacy software is essential; willingness to learn Pioneer Rx system provided
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced, specialty pharmacy

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard retail pharmacy tasks including prescription filling and dispensing
• Conduct accurate and timely data entry for prescriptions and patient records
• Assist with prior authorizations (PAs) and insurance documentation
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in serving clients with HIV/AIDS, ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment
