Pharmacy Technician in Francesville, IN

A pharmacy technician role is available at a community pharmacy located in Francesville, IN, supporting a remote retail setting with approximately 30 daily prescriptions. This contract position offers 24-30 hours per week, primarily Wednesday through Friday, within pharmacy hours of Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no weekend work required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry accurately using PioneerRx (preferred experience).
• Fill prescriptions and manage medication dispensing efficiently.
• Handle customer transactions with professionalism and care.
• Complete three days of training/orientation before starting.
• Potentially provide coverage at a sister facility once trained, supporting remote pharmacist verification.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold an active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification.
• Prior retail pharmacy technician experience is essential.
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred.
• Experience with Eyecon Medication Counting Device is a plus.
• Ability to work independently within a small staff environment (2 technicians).
