A retail pharmacy seeks a dependable and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and ensure an exceptional patient experience. This full-time position offers consistent hours and an opportunity to work closely with pharmacists in a dynamic team environment near Nashville.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (some Saturdays required)
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and filling
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing questions and concerns professionally
- Manage prescription intake, data entry, and insurance processing efficiently
- Maintain workflow efficiency and keep pharmacy organized
- Support various retail pharmacy tasks to contribute to smooth daily operations
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification is highly preferred
- Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is required
- Familiarity with Liberty pharmacy software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively
