Pharmacy Technician in Franklin, TN

A dynamic opportunity is available for two certified pharmacy technicians registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. This role is based in Franklin, TN, supporting a specialized mail-order renal pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with the possibility to transition into a temp-to-hire position, contingent on PTCB certification.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Responsibilities:

• In a customer service capacity, verify shipping details, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles in the pharmacy software system.
• In the dispensing role, accurately fill and dispense medications according to prescriptions.
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system efficiently; this facility operates without automation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must be a certified pharmacy technician registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.
• PTCB certification is required for candidates seeking permanent placement.
• Experience with pharmacy software systems, preferably Wellsky, is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
