Pharmacy Technician | Franklin, Tennessee

A position is available for a Pharmacy Technician supporting a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy that fills approximately 1000 prescriptions daily. This contract role offers a 40-hour workweek with an ASAP start date, providing a dynamic environment to apply your pharmacy technician skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service tasks including verifying shipping information and entering new patient data
• Update patient profiles accurately in the pharmacy software system (Wellsky)
• Dispense and fill medications following pharmacy protocols
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty setting
• Familiarity with electronic pharmacy systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and medication dispensing
• Excellent communication skills for customer service and teamwork
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without automation support
