Pharmacy Technician in Franklin, TN

A healthcare facility in Franklin, TN is seeking an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract with strong potential for contract to hire. This position offers an opportunity to work closely under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, supporting the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, preparing IV medications, entering billing data, and assisting in final medication checks. The role also involves inventory management such as receiving supplies, monitoring lot numbers and expiration dates, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Maintaining equipment calibration and safety standards is an essential aspect of daily duties.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior IV/Infusion pharmacy technician experience is required
• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license must be in hand
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail for compliance with government regulations
• Good communication skills for coordination with pharmacists and billing teams

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
