This role offers an opportunity to support a dynamic outpatient/community care pharmacy as a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician, providing essential coverage for sick days, vacations, and unexpected call-outs. The position operates Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring critical pharmacy functions run smoothly during these hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform retail pharmacy duties in line with the Director of Pharmacy's guidance
  • Assist with prescription preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pharmacy Technician license
  • Retail pharmacy experience preferred, but all backgrounds are considered
  • Ability to work independently and handle various tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Oakland, California—serving the outpatient and community care population

Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
