Pharmacy Technician in Fremont, CA

Join a dynamic pharmacy team in the Bay Area as a Production Pharmacy Technician supporting a special project focused on efficient prescription fulfillment. This contract opportunity is ideal for pharmacy technicians seeking to work immediately and earn quickly. The position involves working directly under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.

Location:

• Fremont, CA (Bay Area)

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 6 evening shifts, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Contract duration: ASAP start through 5/31

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepackage medications according to regulatory standards
• Assist in the final checking of filled prescriptions alongside the pharmacist, including preparation for final review and packaging post-review
• Support inventory management by receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and participating in physical inventories
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-calibrated work environment by monitoring equipment and safety procedures
• Collaborate closely with the Technician Supervisor and Pharmacy Management to ensure smooth operations
• Note: This role does not involve IV preparation; it focuses on fulfillment duties

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license in-hand
• Experience working in pharmacy production or fulfillment environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and under supervision with a detail-oriented approach
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to accuracy and safety
