Pharmacy Technician - Frisco, TX

A pharmacy technician role is available within an integrated, closed-door pharmacy situated inside a behavioral health hospital. This pharmacy operates separately from the clinic but maintains a contract with it. The facility exclusively dispenses behavioral health medications and does not provide vaccines.

This opportunity is a contract-to-hire position based in Frisco, TX, designed to support a growing team currently consisting of one staff pharmacist and two pharmacy technicians. The goal is to add one more technician to complete the staffing model.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense behavioral health medications
• Handle pharmacy tasks in a closed-door setting without vaccine administration
• Interact professionally with patients both via phone and in person
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and clinic teams under contract

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum of 1+ years recent pharmacy technician experience, with preference for 2+ years
• Retail pharmacy experience is mandatory
• Proven ability to engage directly with patients through phone or face-to-face interactions
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven workplace
