Located in Garland, TX, this contract-to-hire position offers full-time hours with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The role is based in a closed-door pharmacy embedded within a behavioral health hospital, focusing exclusively on dispensing behavioral health medications. Operating with a script volume of 350-400 prescriptions per day, this pharmacy utilizes automation and streamlined workflows to ensure efficient processing without the administration of vaccines. The environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who demonstrates exceptional reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense behavioral health medication prescriptions, supporting hospital patient needs.
• Manage high prescription volumes efficiently using Enterprise RX software (training provided).
• Collaborate effectively with one pharmacist and pharmacy technician colleagues to maintain smooth workflow.
• Maintain strict adherence to regulatory compliance and pharmacy policies.
• Support a closed-door pharmacy setting with minimal walk-in patients, optimizing prescription fulfillment processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid TX Pharmacy Technician License (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience; 2+ years strongly preferred.
