An integrated pharmacy located within a behavioral health hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis in Garland, TX. The pharmacy operates as a closed-door facility separate from the clinic but contracted with it, focusing exclusively on dispensing behavioral health medications. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with dispensing behavioral health medications accurately and efficiently within a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacist and other pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Manage direct patient interactions via phone and in-person communications to ensure proper medication support and resolve inquiries
• Operate within a closed-door pharmacy with a focus on behavioral health medications (no vaccines administered)
• Support compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Minimum of 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience with a preference for 2+ years, including retail experience
• Demonstrated ability to handle direct patient interactions, both over the phone and in person (required)
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Staffing Model:
