Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Gastonia, NC

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to provide per diem coverage at a community health clinic serving an underserved population. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations on an as-needed basis, primarily during call-offs, PTO, and vacation coverage. Expect approximately two shifts per month during standard weekday hours.

Location:

• Charlotte, NC

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications in an FQHC/340B setting.
• Collaborate effectively within a small pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist and one technician.
• Support pharmacy operations using PioneerRx system.
• Deliver patient-focused service, ensuring safe and accurate medication distribution.
• Adapt to the unique needs of an underserved patient population.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license.
• Recent and relevant pharmacy technician experience.
• Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environments preferred.
• Experience serving underserved communities is highly valued.
• Comfortable working independently in a small team setting.
• Spanish-speaking ability is preferred to better serve the patient community.
