Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and manage rare and orphan drug therapies within a specialty pharmacy setting
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and patients to facilitate communication and ensure proper medication usage
- Navigate insurance approvals, patient assistance programs, grants, rebates, and other financial supports to help reduce medication costs
- Utilize McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system for specialty pharmacy operations
- Maintain high levels of clinical accuracy and patient-centered care throughout all interactions
Qualifications:
- Active, clear, and good-standing Arizona pharmacy technician license
- Proven experience working specifically in a designated specialty pharmacy (retail or mail order)
- Familiarity with managing rare disease medications and associated patient/provider support processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills essential for high-touch patient care
- Ability to provide at least one specialty pharmacy reference
