Pharmacy Technician in Glendale, AZ

A growing retail pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their team in Glendale, AZ. This role is a 13-week contract to hire opportunity with a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The position plays a key role within a small team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians, managing a daily prescription volume of under 100 scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform data entry tasks related to prescription processing
• Contact patients and physicians’ offices for verification and clarification as needed
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient allergies are verified prior to dispensing
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and according to organizational policies
• Deliver excellent customer service to maintain patient satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a pharmacy technician, specifically in a retail pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with the Pioneer Rx system is preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
