Pharmacy Technician in Glendale, AZ

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician skilled in retail pharmacy operations, located in Glendale, AZ. This position is contract to hire, offering a pathway to permanent employment after a 13-week assignment.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
• First shift
• Glendale, Arizona area

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry of prescriptions and patient information
• Communicating with patients and physician offices to coordinate prescription details
• Filling and dispensing medications as prescribed, including allergy verification
• Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies
• Delivering excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Experience working with Pioneer Rx system preferred, or adaptability to new pharmacy software
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Team Environment: The role supports a pharmacy team consisting of 1 registered pharmacist and 3 technicians, managing a prescription volume of under 100 scripts per day, enabling a focused and manageable workflow.
