An opportunity is available for two experienced retail/mail order pharmacy technicians to start immediately in Glendale, AZ. This 13-week contract position offers the potential for contract-to-hire for the right candidates who demonstrate excellent performance and fit.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties with a focus on high-volume data entry and dispensing
  • Primarily handle mail order deliveries, with some walk-in (retail) patient interactions
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively identify workflow needs and assist teammates to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
  • Provide high-level patient care and communication, supporting both patients and healthcare providers

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum one year of recent experience working in high-volume retail pharmacy settings is required; candidates without such recent experience will not be considered
  • Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications must be indicated on the resume; even minimal exposure is relevant and required to note
  • Valid Arizona pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification
  • Proficiency or familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
