A retail/mail order pharmacy technician position is available in Glendale, AZ, offering an immediate start on a 13-week contract with the possibility of contract-to-hire for the right candidate. This role involves high-volume data entry and dispensing duties, primarily focused on mail order delivery with some walk-in retail service. Location: Glendale, AZ
Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and process prescriptions in a high-volume retail and mail order setting.
• Perform accurate and efficient data entry for prescription orders.
• Manage walk-in customer orders with excellent service skills.
• Maintain a proactive and attentive approach to workflow, stepping in when assistance is needed.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members, demonstrating strong communication.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures and maintain a positive, professional attitude throughout each shift.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have at least 1 year of recent, continuous experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is essential and must be clearly noted on the resume.
• Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license (AZ tech lic) and/or PTCB certification.
• Ability to stand for entire shift in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliable attendance record.
• Pharmacy software experience is highly preferred, especially with QS1, but not mandatory.
