Pharmacy Tech | Glendale, Arizona

An experienced Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a high-volume retail and mail order pharmacy setting. This contract role is based in Glendale, AZ, with potential for contract-to-hire for candidates who demonstrate a strong fit.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including high-volume data entry and dispensing.
• Manage mostly mail order medication delivery with some walk-in retail customers.
• Maintain a steady pace in a fast-moving environment.
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by identifying duty needs and proactively assisting teammates.
• Uphold strong teamwork and communication standards.

Required Qualifications:

• At least one year of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (within the past year).
• Experience with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred; this must be clearly indicated on the resume.
• Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB certification.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift in a demanding environment.
• Strong reliability with punctual attendance and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred but not mandatory.
