An experienced pharmacy technician role is available in Glendale, AZ, focused on supporting a busy retail and mail-order pharmacy setting. This contract position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established mail meds operation, with potential to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling high-volume data entry and dispensing duties
  • Serving retail walk-in customers while primarily supporting mail order medication preparation and delivery
  • Maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout the workday
  • Demonstrating proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying workflow needs and assisting team members
  • Standing for the entire shift and adhering to stringent safety and operational standards

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment—candidates without recent high-volume retail experience will not be considered
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly valued; please ensure this is clearly documented on your resume
  • AZ Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB certification required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality with a positive, professional attitude
  • Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred, though not mandatory

This 13-week contract role is an immediate backfill and offers a pathway to contract-to-hire for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and alignment with client expectations.
