A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity in Glendale, AZ. This role involves working closely with a small, efficient team to support daily pharmacy operations, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely medication services.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Glendale, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry within the pharmacy management system (Pioneer Rx)
• Communicate effectively with patients and physician offices to coordinate prescription details
• Fill and dispense medications according to provider prescriptions, attentively verifying any patient allergies prior to filling
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in alignment with organizational policies
• Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain patient satisfaction

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
• Excellent communication skills for patient and provider interactions
