Pharmacy Technician | Glendale, Arizona

A Retail Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract to hire in the Glendale, AZ area. This position supports a pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians, managing a moderate prescription volume of under 100 scripts daily. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately performing data entry to manage prescription information.
• Communicating with patients and physicians’ offices to ensure prescription accuracy and clarify orders.
• Filling and dispensing medications as prescribed, carefully verifying patient allergies.
• Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally in line with organizational policies.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to support patient satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona.
• A minimum of 2 years recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting is required.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system is preferred.
