Pharmacy Technician - Glendale, Arizona

A retail pharmacy position is open for a Pharmacy Technician to support a well-staffed pharmacy team in Glendale, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced retail environment with a manageable daily prescription volume.

Schedule and Location:

• Shift: 1st shift
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Location: Glendale, AZ
• Contract to hire, 13-week duration initially

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data using Pioneer Rx software
• Communicate efficiently with patients and healthcare providers, including calling physicians’ offices and handling inquiries
• Fill and dispense medications following prescribed orders, with careful verification of patient allergies and safety precautions
• Uphold outstanding customer service standards by addressing patient questions, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, clear, and active Pharmacy Technician license valid in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience specifically in retail pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with pharmacy systems, preferably Pioneer Rx, and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
