Pharmacy Technician | Glendale, Arizona

A position is available for an experienced Retail Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This role offers a 13-week contract with potential to transition to permanent employment, providing stability and growth opportunities within the pharmacy team.

Location: Glendale, AZ
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (1st shift)

Responsibilities:

• Enter prescription data accurately into the Pioneer Rx system
• Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and relay information
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety by verifying allergies and other clinical considerations
• Address patient inquiries and concerns professionally, adhering to organizational policies
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance patient experience

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license valid in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a retail pharmacy technician
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

This role entails working alongside one pharmacist and three technicians in a setting handling under 100 prescriptions daily, ideal for those who thrive in supportive, team-driven environments.
